Outstanding Competitor Awards:

- Junior Boy (8 & Under) Outstanding Competitor
- Junior Boy (9 - 12) Outstanding Competitor
- Junior Boy (13 & Above) Outstanding Competitor
- Junior Girl (8 & Under) Outstanding Competitor
- Junior Girl (9-12) Outstanding Competitor
- Junior Girl (13 & Above) Outstanding Competitor
- Senior Men Outstanding Competitor
- Senior Women Outstanding Competitor
- Masters Outstanding Competitor
- Kata Team Outstanding Award


The criteria for the Indiana Judo, Inc. Outstanding Competitor Award is as follows:
1) Your Club must be a current member of either USA Judo, USJA or USJF
2) The Competitor must be a current member of either USA Judo, USJA or USJF
3) Your Club must be a current member of Indiana Judo, Inc.
4) You must compete in at least three (3) Indiana Judo tournaments and points will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in one (1) division you compete in
5) You may obtain additional points for competing in National and International Judo events
6) The level of competition and individual placing will be considered
7) National ranking will be considered
8) Sportsmanship and attitude will be considered, you must conduct yourself in a sportsman like manner and represent the ideals, disciplines and etiquette of Judo to the highest level

The Following Indiana Tournaments are Scheduled at this Time:
- Any Indiana Regional Tournament (Club Tournaments don't count. Has to be open to at least all Indiana players).

Winners will receive the following:
- Award with your name and club name
- Your name and picture placed on the Indiana Judo Wall of Fame on Indiana Judo’s website
- Recognition and presentation at the Indiana State Championships


Additional Awards:

Coach of the Year

This award is given to the year’s most outstanding Coach. Selection criteria will include level of competitors at tournaments and placing at Indiana Judo tournaments and National and International Judo events. This Award is not based solely on the competitive performance of players. This award recognizes an individual who is a role model for their students and the Sport of Judo. The recipient of this award should have contributed to the Sport of Judo in a capacity over and above the normal efforts and in so doing, has shown unselfish and untiring devotion to the sport and represent the ideals, disciplines and etiquette of Judo to the highest level.

Winner will receive the following:
- Award with your name and club name
- Your name and picture placed on the Indiana Judo Wall of Fame on Indiana Judo’s website
- Recognition and presentation at the Indiana State Championships


Club of the Year

The Outstanding Club of the Year Award recognizes the Club which has supported Indiana Judo events and sanctioned Judo events, has demonstrated Mutual Benefit and Welfare to the Sport of Judo to the best of its ability and which has had the greatest positive impact on its students and the Judo community.

Winner will receive the following:
- Award with your club name
- Your name and club picture placed on the Indiana Judo Wall of Fame on Indiana Judo’s website
- Recognition and presentation at the Indiana State Championships
- Bragging rights throughout the year
